Hello,
My name is Yasuko (Sue). I was born and raised in Japan. All my family still live in Japan.

In the summer of 2013, I discovered Jikiden Reiki teachings after spending 13 years working at a flower shop on the Surrey/Langley border. I believe there is always good in people. No matter what difficulties they face, the moment they stepped into the shop, they transformed into individuals full of love and care.

Witnessing that love always brightened my day.

My love of Reiki grew very quickly after I learned Shoden and Okuden.

Jikiden Reiki looks very simple, but there are years of dedication and practice behind it. You will discover many layers of love as you practice Reiki.

I am so grateful and happy to be able to practice Jikiden Reiki, teaching, sharing my knowledge and experience.

I am so grateful and honoured to be a part of the organizing team of the Jikiden Reiki North American Congress in 2019.
It was a wonderful experience.

Why was Usui Reiki Ryoho born from Japan and not from another culture?

Simply, the core concept of Reiki is deeply rooted in Japanese culture and society. (Japanese philosophy)

Chiyoko Yamaguchi was one of the last students of Hayashi Sensei.
Many Jikiden Reiki practitioners around the world took the opportunity at the Congress to learn and listen from Chiyoko sensei’s students who had known Chiyoko sensei about how Chiyoko sensei was practicing and the true essence of Reiki.
