Erla and Anna Sif are a mother-and-daughter teaching team offering Shoden and Okuden courses in Jikiden Reiki, as well as individual treatments. Their work is rooted in the authentic Japanese tradition and carried out in a warm, personal, and respectful learning environment.

Alongside their teaching, they nurture a small and dedicated Reiki community. Through regular Reiki practice gatherings, Reiju meetings, and open house events, they provide ongoing opportunities for connection, practice, and deepening one’s relationship with Reiki.

They have had the pleasure of teaching students from Sweden, Iceland, and Denmark, and warmly welcome anyone who wishes to learn Jikiden Reiki and is able to understand Swedish, English, or Icelandic.

Erla and Anna Sif run their own healing and education center," TÖFRAR", where teaching and practice are integrated into daily life. It is located in Kungälv, Sweden.

Their Reiki training includes several years of study in Greece with their teacher, Frank Arjava Petter sensei, followed by a month of intensive training in Kyoto, Japan, with their teacher Tadao Yamaguchi sensei, where they completed their final examination.

During their time in Japan, they also undertook a profound Reiki pilgrimage, visiting Mikao Usui’s birthplace in Taniai (Gifu Prefecture), his grave in Tokyo, and Mount Kurama in Kyoto, where Reiki was received, among other significant sites. Walking in Usui sensei’s footsteps, staying in these places, and immersing themselves in Japanese culture has been invaluable—both personally and for a deeper understanding of Reiki’s historical and cultural background.

Before dedicating themselves exclusively to Jikiden Reiki, both Erla and Anna Sif worked with and taught Western forms of Reiki for many years. Today, they teach Shoden and Okuden courses, with regular Reiki practice gatherings offered between courses to support continued learning and embodied practice.

Their intention is to share Jikiden Reiki as it has been handed down in generations from Usui sensei and in a way that is genuine, accessible, and rooted in lived practice, while offering a supportive space for learning and growth. They welcome you to practice and learn with them.
